Obama did the same thing TRUMP just did, but you never heard a PEEP from the Liberals/Left/Democrats. There were no protests, no protestors, no riots and no complaining....BUT...TRUMP does it and ALL HELL BREAKS LOOSE!

JIMMY CARTER Banned a few countries for SIX months too.

FUNNY how when the Democrats do something NOTHING is Said....and by the way NO WHERE in the BAN does it mention either MUSLIMS or ISLAM. YET, the main stream media is reporting this as a MUSLIM band.... LIARS...FAKE NEWS...IDIOTS!!!
I am SO SICK and TIRED of the ONE WAY STREET.

actually thete was no ban, it was a slowdown of the process to perform "extreme vetting" of those coming in

Capt Seid Waddell - I am closing this convo from my end with these words.... While I agree with you and the rest of my fellow Americans that there are threats to our national identity, our country and our people which must guard against in every way, shape and form, I will say there is a right way and a wrong way of doing business. Is the way Pres Trump is doing things the right or wrong way? That is not for me to answer.

I will say that the way this particular EO was rolled out, the background behind its inception and all related matters given to its inception was not in accordance with how such is done.

I do not dispute its legality as that is for the courts to decide- I dispute that mentioned in the previous para above.

With that said.... onto the next subject and thank you for your debate on this particular item if discussion

SGT (Join to see), terrorism is a Black Swan event - although the odds may be low of it happening to an individual, when it DOES happen the results are catastrophic. The government has a duty to do all in its power to prevent such events.

Both Obama and Trump have tried to do so - let's hope that Trump is more successful at it than Obama was.
