You know that millionaires can write as many check to the federal treasury as they like. They will take the money happily. If folks feel under taxed, by all means, send more money into the treasury.

Cpl Tou Lee Yang - Nonsense! If people feel they are getting more than their money's worth, they often pay more. It's called a tip. As a wood carver, I have no expectation of a "tip," and tell people as much. Nonetheless I quite often receive very generous tips. One couple gave me a $500 tip on $2800 carved headboard.

It was probably Hollywood elites, pro athletes, and democrats in Congress that made up a majority of the bunch. 400 is really just a drop in the bucket tbh.

Propaganda aside the Millionaire and Billionaires are NOT getting a tax cut, in fact the top one percent are getting a tax increase with this bill. Middle and lower America are getting to keep more of their money they earned and a cutting of paying for others free ride.
If congress and the left were really interesting in the National debt why didn't they have an issue with the 9 Trillion Obama added during his 8 years? Bush was running wars in two countries and only added 5.849 trillion... How much waste is in the old budgets, how much pork do we find every year? Shrimp on treadmills, paying terrorists, VA scandals, ect ect... Quite frankly I don't think Washington will spend my money wisely. doesn't matter who is in power. So if I get to keep more of my check cool.

As I stated on another post the Trump tax plan has some great points and some not so great points. I don't use Opinion pieces to sway me (though you seem to only listen to talking heads) Truth is there are things in the original one I don't like but your not going to get everything you want in life. You cant have your cake and eat it to.
As a Single person with no kids I have always been annoyed by the people who pay far less in taxes but seem to profit off of having children. I know of one person with a wife and 3 kids who makes about 2 thirds my pay and gets about 4 to 5 thousand back every year. I know he didn't pay that in so that means my taxes are paying for his kids. I see this everywhere. While we all need to pay for our share I think the system has been rigged. I would love to see a simple flat tax on pay / salary / perks / no deductions. These plans eliminate almost all the deductions people can claim. Yes that sucks for the teachers but maybe parents need to start supplying the required items for their kids. Just a thought.
