Great share... I've always found the names people have amusing... especially in the military. There are just certain names you shouldn't have in the military. Some of my favorite last names I've seen included someone named Fightmaster and Thongsmouth. It's like why would you willingly enlist with those names knowing you'd be the center of attention in boot camp.

While assigned to Fort Campbell, I saw on a couple of occasions, a female Soldier with the last name, "Batman." I once saw an Officer with the last name "Stalker" and he was a MAJ (Major Stalker). I've known a guy with the last name "Sargent" who was a SGT. In my current BN there is a SSG with the first name of "Major."

During my first tour in Germany we had a SP4 Rock in the Troop, he refused to go to the E5 board. In another unit we had a SGT Major!

A friend of mine served with a female in the Navy whose last name was Sample. Until she made some rank she was addressed Seaman Sample....

I've personally met a SSG Major, 1SG Commander, and SGT Sargent. That shit got confusing quick....
