President Biden continues to see a decline in the polls and ratings.

Whole lot of RP Lefties in here are dutifully carrying his water as well. Not that it does them any good, because the entire World can see how feeble-minded Joe actually is, but they won't stop regardless of the daily, continually mounting evidence.

I think these ratings make sense in today's hyperpartisan environment. Conservatives won't ever like him (so he loses ~40% there) and the progressives aren't happy at all because they aren't getting what they want from him (so he loses another ~25-30% there). That only leaves a small portion of voters to prop up his approval ratings. This will be the norm when someone tries to govern from the middle.

MSG Stan Hutchison - For Biden, he has to give progressives some wins or else he will never move up in the approval ratings. Take your pick from the menu I rattled off in my response to Charlie. He can't give them everything, but he at least needs to give them something. Right now they're not getting anything. If I was a progressive, I'd be disappointed with him too.

LTC Kevin B. - I agree, and he has to do some of that soon. If he waits until near the elections, it will be looked at as purely political. If he does something sooner, it may not have the positive impact he needs. Timing is everything.

MSG Stan Hutchison - I think the boat has sailed. If he does something now, it looks hurried and political. If he does it after the election during the lame duck period (when the GOP looks poised to be about to take over), it will look weak and opportunistic. After the new Congress is sworn in, it will likely be too late. The GOP will block everything (I don't expect the Democrats to maintain full control). I think he missed his opportunity.
