Are they blaming the gun yet? We all know they won't blame the actual shooter. (unless he's white)

SrA John Monette - I carried a Camilus Electrician's knife to school, quite often in the '60s. I 've had many of that same knife over the decades. I bought the first one in the gift shop of a Steam museum in 1962. It was the same as issued by the US military to repair parachutes. It was a combination knife, standard and Philips screwdriver to install outlets and light switches. It was often the only tool available for quick repairs at school. This is a used one that I picked up on Ebay a decade ago.

SPC Michael Terrell - I carried a pocket knife throughout high school. In my neck of the woods, students would have rifles and shotguns in their cars and trucks. We were responsible back then. Parents didn't have to worry about their kids having a beef and getting a gun to settle it. They did it the old-fashioned way.

SrA John Monette - Especially, what with you could expect from your parents for starting unprovoked fights.

SPC Michael Terrell - It'd be worse than anything the school or police could do.
