Muslim activist: Many Muslims support 'extreme vetting'

Sorry, as someone who has been responsibility for organizations conducting investigations overseas.... Investigating foreigners....we fail. We do not know if the local gov is giving us good info. In countries like Syria, Somolia, Libya, and even Russia or China. Often they do not authorize Americans to investigate in their countries. How can we know if they were a drug dealer? Because they and their brother says they are clean...is that extreme vetting. I think it is extremely BS analysis.

There is almost no way of vetting people from most third world countries for two reasons, first the countries don't have or maintain data used to vet people, second is the plethora of forged legal travel documents available.
