Native American Policy of the Obama Administration - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

While I am not the biggest Obama supporter or supporter of the Democratic party for that matter. I am an Shoshone-Bannock Tribal member. The one good thing I could say about President Obama is that he has been attentive to American Indian issues. These issues are often ignored by most politicians on both sides of the aisle and probably because American Indians are a tiny minority and spread out across the country. What can future politicians, senators, representatives, governors, Presidents do to recognize treaty rights and address American Indian issues. A side note American Indians have the highest percentage per-capita that serve in our armed forces.
