I think it's going to be easy enough for the Mids to adapt. One thing we should remember however; the PRT is just one slice of the Academy physical training and testing battery. Mids competing for Marine Corps service selection try-out, and attend "Leatherneck"; aspiring Aviators and NFOs do a lot of pool work, and I won't even go into what the BUDs hopefuls endure. Then, there's the fact that every Mid is also required ( as I recall) to play a sport...club or varsity. Workouts on the Boxing and Demonstration Martial Arts teams were every bit, if not more challenging than any regular PRT. Furthermore, I don't recall any of my classmates who as upperclassmen, didn't have their own training regime. I lost track of the miles logged running the "Seawall", making the "Crabtown" circuit, and hanging out in the Sampson Hall gym.

Thanks for the update. I knew about the planks but not the cadence push-ups...that won't fly in the regular Navy, LOL
