Innocent until proven guilty. This is war. Unless CPO Gallagher is clearly, beyond a doubt guilty, then this is a witch hunt. Aside from the detrimental effect on Chief Gallagher and his family, trying warriors for killing in a war will make every potential recruit think twice before they enlist. Unless way beyond doubt we should not try our warriors for killing the enemy.

Whether it’s the Geneva convention or the uniform code of military justice and maybe I’m wrong maybe things have changed but if you have an enemy in custody is the only way you can be charged with murder if it’s in a fire fight it is not considered murder so the question is if he had this person in his custody
Point #2 seeing he took a picture with the dead Isis fighter why would you do that as a trophy if you did not make the kill
#3 The female Army personnel that had her picture taken with the Guantánamo prisoner was dealt with so why is that not a free ride but this one is
