It isn't going to happen unless the US begins creating a lot of new wealth. That means reducing taxation and regulation, and getting government the hell out of our way

Reagan Went For 600 Ships Of The Line... Is Trump Going To Build It Back up And Increase the Numbers... We Can Only Hope So...

Capt Jeff S.
600 was a very ambitious goal. We had about 594 ships at the peak of expansion in 1987 under President Reagan, and that declined rapidly after the end of the Cold War down to 281 under President GW Bush, and further down to 273 under (p)Resident Obama. We truly have neglected our military -- especially our Navy. It's a shame Navy people lost their careers and now the Navy is going to have to replace the people it got rid of.
Would have been nice if we could not have been so drastic with the military cuts and instead didn't give so much money away to lost causes -- like Netanyahu's opposition, Iran, Libyan rebels, Syrian rebels, Muslim Brotherhood, illegals and Muslim refugees...

They still have to be paid for SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL and we'll have to see what he does once he gets in! Just what we need, some more expensive things that dont work!
