I view these articles with a little skepticism. I have spent some time refuting our apperantly high infant mortality rates, etc. Some folks on the left have stated Cuba’s medical care is better than ours. Yet I saw a report on a child with a massive facial tumor flown to the US for treatment. Folks out side of medicine have no idea how untoward outcomes Are reviewed, analyzed etc. Can improvements be made yes, but it isn’t as bad as some make it seem.

I knew we had the highest infant death rate, but I did not know this. It is pretty damning for us as a society, and I wish we were as concerned about both as we are about abortions. From people I know who have had serious complications caused by the medical community, I do not believe there is any follow-up to find out how the system broke down, and do something to fix it so it won't happen again. Thanks for sharing this.
