The very suggestion that the immigration detention centers are anything remotely like concentration camps is absurd! Back in the 1930s and 1940s, the Jews and other persecuted groups were desperately trying to flee the parts of Europe that were controlled by the Nazis. These persecuted groups weren't trying to sneak into Nazi Germany for a better life!

As much as these protestors want to say that Trump is the next Hitler, they don't seem to realize what life would actually be like under a Nazi regime. Free speech and protesting against the government wasn't tolerated by the Nazis. Instead of only a few dozen of them being arrested and having due process in court, they would've all been rounded by the Gestapo to either be sent to a labor camp at best, at worst tortured and executed.

Several actual survivors disagree with you.

What's your solution? Open the borders and let everyone who's been detained go?

My late grandmother in law was a Holocaust survivor. She survived Dachau, came to the US and reached the highest levels at NASA. She would be incredibly angry at this younger Jewish generation saying the 2 are even remotely similar.
