All I read was gay, gay, gay. Why? It talks of Fanning's accomplishments, yet never list any. Did i mention they said he was gay? Who cares? As long as our country is safer with this guy in charge he has my support!

LTC Thomas Tennant He has been with the DOD since the 90's in some capacity. He is a politician so who knows where it is going to go, but until he does something stupid I'll give him a thumbs up.

It would seem that his being gay was a major reason for his selection. This is what happens when the liberal/progressives gain power - it is all about their agenda and the primary purpose for the military gets lost in the shuffle.

Republicans and Democrats are both okay with him, based on his record and accomplishments, so what's the issue? Unless he's being hired for breeding purposes, his sexuality isn't relevant.
