New Army weapon tech could make cleaning obsolete

No you're not the only one. I still love to clean my weapons and I'm retired. I always love the accomplishment of taking a weapon fouled with carbon and dirt and getting it whistle clean. The smell of CLP doesn't hurt either. Now if only two things would happen: 1.) someone makes a scraper tool for those two really hard to reach areas inside the Bolt Carrier Group and 2.) Someone makes a perfume that smells like gunpowder and CLP.

There are a lot of us enjoying this little task, however when there is no time, you make the time...

I like cleaning and inspecting my own service weapon. You know the old saying....If you want it done right, do it yourself.
