New DoD Directive Restricts Display of Ball Team Pennants, Pride Flags

I kind of agree with this, if we want to take offensive flags and pennants down, then all flags and pennants should be taken down, minus the Stars and Stripes. Whether you like it or not, the pride flag is political, and like the stars and bars, it offends people. If you are going to take down something because it offends a certain demographic, then you cannot promote another that offends a different demographic. This is a move not specifically against the pride flag, but preventing a bruhaha over something unforseen in the future. If they make all flags against regulation except the Country Flag, then they cannot have the next fainting couch wusses target them.

SSG Robert Mark Odom Pretty Sad that the Pride Flag would be equated with the Flag of Traitors and Slave Owners.
