The only thing I'll point out is that the article is misleading. Having gone though the planning on one of these "NCR Consolidations" for the military, there's a lot more to the story than "FBI is building a huge building to spy on you" (not saying they won't, but that's not the main point).

The current FBI HQ (Hoover building in DC) only houses about 50% of the HQ staff with the rest of them scattered around GSA buildings within the beltway (and a few outside of it). The reason for the consolidation is the age of the building and to get rid of the redundancies that happen when a staff is fragmented.

You sure they don't need more "Head room" for all the swelled heads that have taken up residence?

Sorry. The FBI isn't anywhere the size of the DOD and definitely doesn't need a building bigger than the Pentagon. This agency has shown itself to be a political organization that plays very loose with the truth. The Twitter files and the Horowitz report have shown it. I'm all for razing it and starting over.

The "twice as big as the Pentagon" from the article is a bit misleading. The "twice the size" refers not the size of the building, but the size of the plot of land it will sit on.

Agree that the FBI has become much more political than it should be though.

Looks like they want to expand the FBI or everyone gets their own office and so does their secretary. Growing the government faster than FDR is the new Democrats mantra. Thanks for the share MAJ Dale E. Wilson, Ph.D.
