Are any of you following Berger’s strategic changes and vision of the Corps?

The Corps wants to drop large amphibious landings. It got rid of all the tanks and a lot of artillery and helicopters. It wants to focus on small teams on land protecting the ships with long range fires and missiles. Despite having a strength of over 170,000 it does not want to play with the army in conventional war. Therefore, it wants the army to bear the brunt of heavy combat.

However, if there is a WWIII, you will see the Corps fighting large conventional battles. They won’t get away with playing grab ass from the ships and islands. Who will conduct large amphibious operations? Does Berger think that technology is eliminated the need for them?
