Here's A Short But True Event:
My Brother Jim, Was Employed As A Warehouse Purchasing Agent For The USAF At Albrook AFB, In Panama. & Had Gotten To Know Just About Everyone Of Any Importance.
Later On, Jim Received His Draft Notice From The Army & Hot Footed It To The USAF Recruiters Office And Signed Up.
Knowing The Base Commander; He Was Assigned To His Same Job, Put On His Uniform As An E-2, And Just Continued Working As Nothing Had Changed.
Wasn't Even Required To Go Through Basic At Lackland AFB In Texas..

From That Point Forward His Job Was A Breeze Because The Others, Even His CO, Thought "He Must Be With The OSI Or CID.".......
.That Being Said, He Received No Static From Anyone & Received Every Promotion With Minimal Time.
