Heard this story on NPR. It was a brutal time for the Chinese. They talked of many rapes of girls as young as 14.

I was struck how he pitted everyone against everyone, Labeled even the Party Elite as CINO (Communist in Name Only) to have the people go agiainst them as long as you worshiped the "Great Leader" sure makes you think about how that is being applied in todays political scene in the US.
