The U.S.S Constitution, the oldest commissioned U.S. Navy ship and the oldest warship in the world still afloat, returns to her berth in Boston on Monday after coming off her blocks in dry-dock. Anyone who has been to Boston and not taken time to visit this historic ship has indeed missed seeing something historically significant to our country. The ship was built to fight the British. I took my kids there many years ago. I live in the Boston area and smile every time I see Old Ironsides.

I live in New Hampshire, but haven't been for about 15 years. Plan on taking my grandson (he's 13) sometime this summer. One of my friends in boot camp got the Constitution as his first duty assignment. He sent me a picture in his throw-back uniform. Unfortunately never got to see him on duty.

Been on it many times and watch it turn around every year on the 4th.......A very unique experience, first time or fortieth !!!

Been to Boston many times and even lived there for a very brief period. Love this ship. Actually flew a flag on it and got a certificate certifying the flag from the commander of the U.S.S. Constitution. That flag and certificate are one of several on display inside my house.
