If you play your cards right then you too can become a CEO of a company that doesn't exist and make billions of dollars.
Of course you will have to live in Israel after you are convicted - but you won't have to give any of the money back.
PS - You can blame the PRC all you want, but it appears (from the article) that what he did there was against the laws of the PRC as well. Obviously France (as well as several of the other EU countries) and China would like to get their hands on this person (to see if they can get their hands on any of the money he stole). Would anyone like to bet that the Israelis (who do have their hands on him and the money) are about to disgorge either?

Nope, and what would the Chinese do? If they got him, they'd ask him to help them "steal"... I mean "appropriate" more money.

COL Ted Mc - Sir, what they "say" openly is a FAR cry from what they do under the guise of "legality" and in private. I cannot think of ANY government that wouldn't want the ability and knowledge to steal "legally" and openly. To include the Chinese.

SSG Warren Swan - Staff; Get caught stealing millions in the PRC and the government will confiscate everything they can get their hands on (even if that comes out to more than you stole) and then provide you with one of the shortest prison sentences possible (but the government WILL pay for the coffin).
