A piece of music inspired by a love of old Damascus by the Jordanian-born composer of Syrian heritage, Suad Bushnaq , has won a prize at the Hollywood Music in Media Awards.

The Syrian Expat Philharmonic Orchestra features some musicians who are refugees from the war.
