Calling it a 'Muslim Ban' is hyperbolic, disingenuous, and misleading. He did not ban Muslims. He temporarily banned citizens of specific countries. There are plenty of Muslims being allowed in from all over the world. I can't take seriously an article that can't even bother with basic journalistic ethics.

SFC (Join to see) There are dozens of nations that are Muslim majority nations. Additionally, there are sizeable Muslim populations in most of the developed and developing world. There has been no change in the ability to apply for and receive appropriate travel documents for Muslims in any of those other countries. Furthermore the ban includes ALL citizens of those citizens of those seven countries (Iraq, Syria, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen) regardless of religion.

Can we dispense with the false flag of calling it a Muslim ban?

And as far as your article's assertion the President Trump did this out of the blue. The author was clearly locked away in a sensory deprivation chamber for most of the election cycle if he was surprised.
