SSG Edward Tilton - From the article: 'The requirement will come into force for the graduation of basic training soldiers from 1st Battalion, 34th Infantry Regiment, on Aug. 26, according to LA Sully, a Fort Jackson spokesperson. Children under the age of 16 are exempt from the vaccination requirement, but there are no religious or medical exceptions to the policy."

I guess.... but my question pertains to the 50 mile radius. If covid is under every nook and cranny, what does 50 miles do to "protect the force" that 51 miles doesn't?

CW4 Guy Butler yeah that's what I figured, they just stayed with the normal pass mileage. It just seems arbitrary in a way seeing as how you can catch it 50 feet off base (on base for that matter), or 500 miles. Just a thought that crossed my mind.
