If this is going to be like the ACFT implementation then soldiers are going to be in a world of hurt. I have taped thousands of soldiers of over the years and 99% of the ones who fail are fat. Nothing is perfect and when the Army does it you know there will be issues. If they were to make a new height/weight program as complex as the ACFT you will probably see 75% of the Army fail right away.

Completely get rid of it and rely on the PT test. Seriously, what is the point in taping a Soldier that is doing well on the APFT or ACFT? We are told that this new ACFT will be a better indicator of how fit someone is for combat, okay, if they are passing then what does BMI matter??

Concerned that 2k soldiers from those areas won't be a very accurate representation of all ages, genders, mos's across active, gaurd and reserve. But it's a start!

And just the 200 USAR/USANG troops that are local to that area.
