Will North Korea defy the international community in order to perform a test launching a long range missile?
North Korea has announced it will launch a rocket to put a satellite into orbit, the United States, South Korea and other nations see this as a pretext for a long-range missile test banned by the UN.
The U.S. has indicated that if North Korea launches the missile they will jeopardize recent negotiations in which the U.S. agreed to deliver "tons" of food to North Korea.
"Japan vowed on Wednesday to shoot down any missiles or rockets fired over its territory after North Korea announced plans to launch a satellite in the coming days."
"South Korea, said Pyongyang will pay a "severe price" if it goes ahead with what the international community sees as a long-range missile test. "We warn that if North Korea proceeds with a long-range rocket launch, the international society will ensure that the North pays searing consequences ... as it would constitute a grave threat to the Korean peninsula, the region, and the world," South Korean official Cho Tae-yong said in televised remarks.""

One thing Jong-Un has shown is that he does not care what happens to his people or what the rest of the world thinks about him. I am of the opinion that he is going to launch the satellite.

I wish Japan and Korea would just each put an Aegis Cruiser off their coasts and both decide to work together to shoot down the rocket when it is at its most vulnerable launch stage. I understand Japan said it will shoot it down but to go from a threat to action is different The Dear Diabetic Leader can't do much if the UN already said no...why not? It would be funny to see both Navies assure a shoot down!
