I think another difference is that Obama said he would meet dictators “without preconditions”. We saw how well that worked out with Iran. Another difference is that Obama went out looking around for dictators nd trying to get meetings with them.
I think Trump hasn’t gone out begging for dictators to meet with him, bowing and kissing their rings, or apologizing to the entire world firvthe fact that the United States of America exists and has become a superpower, and has brought that same entire world ahead 5000 years in the span of 200.
Trump said he would meet but never went about with his hat in his hand; in fact he’s pretty damn proud of our country and it shows. He also didn’t say he would meet those people “without preconditions”. Actually I remember Trump cranked up the heat (And the sanctions...) on “Little Rocket Man” and calling his ass out for exactly what he is when he tried to push buttons like he did with Obama. And to be honest, like it or not, Lil Rocket Man is the one doing the asking and trump agreed, but WITH preconditions..... “The nuke md missile testing stops, immediately, AND the sanctions stay in place. Period.
Yes I’d say there is most definitely a change in attitudes now compared to the last administration. A huge change....
