Never knew or heard of these resources back in the day. They may have existed even then. Many people, including myself at one time, felt I was so screwed up and such a tremendous pain in the ass to everyone I was associated with in any way, that they would be much better off if I was not around to mess up their day with all my dark thoughts, complaining and other pesky symptoms. Hard to resist such a sane rational encouraging a drastic end.

Capt Tom Brown, I used to feel the same way about my life. Sometimes I still do when I do something not normal. I'm so glad you git out of your funk.

The family and friends are the ones who suffer. I've lost some close vet friends to suicide and every time it happens I ask the same thing. WHY?
