What I can't believe is the right-wing bullshit trying to rile people up with lies and smear.

I think the President's comments were light-hearted jest and kind of funny. That's the way I took them. (By the way I'm a right wing nut job, can't wait to see President Obama out of office. I'm just afraid that he is probably far less bad than either of the two knuckleheads we're currently considering)
You're kind of complaint is like disbelief that there is water at the beach. I find your disbelief even funnier than the President's jest, and your implication that BS and smear tactics are the sole province of the right ring even funnier than that.

Maj John Bell - Never said they were the sole practice of the right, but I do stand by the fact that Hillary Clinton has received a grossly outsized share of it due to GOP knowledge that she would eventually run and their knowledge that unless seriously smeared, she would be unbeatable.

LTC (Join to see) - I think her "unbeatable" status is real, but unearned. I believe the American public is woefully negligent in vetting their candidates. In my research on her, I see a lot of promises and advocacy, but very little "real" results, whether I agree with her position or not.
The only achievement that she is connected to, where I believe she was a prime mover, was the sanctions that brought Iran to the nuclear negotiation table. I happen to think she did a damn fine job. But we hear very little about that. Unfortunately, President Obama and Secretary Kerry squandered the advantage she gained us.
Her apparent fear of the uncontrolled environment of a press conference really concerns me.

This is why we have term limits for the presidency. We don't need a career president, we have way too many career idiots on capital hill! Term limits for every elected official.
