The last surviving five-star general it's sad to see him in a wheelchair seeing pass and review in his late age

He was an amazing man, for sure. I like the series 'Manhatton'. It is awesome. My mania is cranking up big-time. I should relax with cats. lol

General Bradley's residence for the last years of his life was in quarters at Ft Bliss, TX near the WBAMC. At the time, the 3d ACR was stationed at Ft Bliss and I did a tour in the 3d ACR S3 shop. One of the contingency plans in which we had a role was ORBIT STARS, a post plan to be executed upon General Bradley's death. During my tour, we did a number of no-notice rehearsals of the plan. Ironically, when General Bradley eventually died, he was in New York and the plan was never executed.

I remember his passing. Was stationed at Naval Hospital Jacksonville.

I remember the occasion as well.
I had been stationed at Ft.Bliss while he was there for my 16P Training, after being reclassified from 95C/B during the Iran-Iraq War...
