Very sad story of a Veterans Administration social worker who left his one year old twins, a boy and a girl in car and then went to work at VA Hospital. He is charged with involuntary manslaughter. Unfortunately this happens all too often and across all demographics. Doesnt matter if you are rich or poor, educated or uneducated, black or white, make or female. It has hit everyone. I feel bad for this father who on the worst day of his life and then he is charged with a crime which I dont believe he is guilty of.

This is just awful. I made it a point to look in the backseat after driving EVERY time just in case I had my boys with me. It is now routine for me and they are much older but it better than being sorry.

They charged the father CSM Charles Hayden but I dont think it was intentional. He screwed up big time.

I don’t think he should be charged. His guilt will haunt him for the rest of his life. I would think he is at a very high risk of suicide.
