Opinion | Dems, Please Don’t Drive Me Away

Thus is how even thouh my views on life haven’t changed much I find myself voting more for republicans than democrats lately. They have gone so far to the left that people in the middle get lost. The only ones talking to us now are republicans. I don’t want open borders or medicare for all. I believe in the second amendment. I support gay marriage and the right to an abortion before the fetus is viable. I am pro freedom of soeech even if it pisses me off. Now though, that isn’t good enough for the democrats. You have to be all in with their entire agenda or you are the enemy. I am stuck voting republican. If the libertarians would get a platform besides legalized drugs they might get some of the middle...

This leap to the far left will guarantee Tump's reelection if they choose a candidate that reflects that. Nothing is free, someone always has to pay. In this case as in so many, it's us
