With all due respect, the impugning of this man as a witness is part of what happens in a situation like this. It shouldn't, but it does.
FWIW, this man has a fine record of service. That doesn't mean what he says is not biased. That is why we need to see him testify and answer questions - so we can make a determination on his trustworthiness based upon his own words and body language, not guesses and our own bias one way or another.

I guarantee that whatever questions he answers/attempts to answer will not be totally biased. From what I'm hearing/reading, he's changed some of his information only after talking with democrat leadership. So, I'm not 100% certain that we'll get the full truth from this guy or anyone for that matter.

It is also why we need to see them testify, to determine who is truthful, and what to believe.
I don't believe squat that comes out of the committee nor the spokespeople. Their bias is clear.
