Trust and or lack thereof is no less an issue/concern *out of uniform* throughout the military industrial complex (i.e., “everywhere”) as well as life itself. With top, bottom and in between often being wary of one another for reasons right, wrong, real, imagined and otherwise. Hemingway for sure —but— perhaps Jean Shepherd deserves the last word.
