The Washington Post quoting the New York Times...I’m not sure how much I trust this article.

It's an opinion piece. He's saying "it seems to me.". But which of the things the author says do you believe he didn't do?

The admittedly limited research I was able to do of the things cited in the article were all from the same biased sources. It’s a problem we have in this country the media is right or left and echoes the corresponding talking points. I just want facts and editorials biased on facts.

PO1 Tony Holland He Does Seem to be More interested in being King, Emperor or Leader (Duce in Italian, Fuhrer in German) than any Form of Democracy Familiar to Most Americans.

Chip, I would agree with you if he was going after people doing their job. But going after a DIRECTOR of the FBI that LIED under oath? A Secretary of State that LIED under oath? A slew of political hacks that were given immunity to NOT testify?
But it is OK for the Democrats to continue to spend money trying to impeach him for violating NO laws. It is OK for Democrats to keep pushing the "Russian collusion" propaganda with NO proof. That's OK?
Get rid of the "Professional Politicians" so that they do not spend so much time protecting their seat and get people that represent "We the People".

As the article said Mr. Trump has the right to do what he has done. Other my not of done it but he does have the right. I fail to see the violation of checks and balances.

MSgt Steve Sweeney - Unlike a crying liberal I actually have enough self respect to not give a damn about your opinions of me. Hence why I didn't both to address your childlike and self demeaning behavior. Simple point is that you have been presented with evidence and fact yet you only have the mental agility of a teenage boy so you naturally resort to name calling and cursing ironically at a third party. Thankfully any respectable individual can read your comments and discern that you are an imbecil and your points though passionate are not worth the electrons used to present them. The only real response I want from you is to figure out how you ever managed to make MSGT.

MSgt Steve Sweeney - As I said before, I don't care enough about your opinion to feel the need to defend myself. Sure one you tube video, but you can't make a single rational argument against the solid historical facts that disprove your theory of deregulation in the 1920's. But sleep well tonight knowing your ignorance is blissful. I'm proud to have Rick Perry as my boss, he's doing a much better job than I originally anticipated. Significant budget cuts where DOE can't perform and refocusing the path forward on the projects that are underperforming, much better than the previous administrations solution to throw more money at unsolved problems.

MSgt Steve Sweeney - Now I am offended, you falsely accuse me of downvoting you. I sir am a gentlemen and a scholar would never downvote someone for something so trivial.
Progressives are communists they just don't want to admit it or are too ignorant on what communism really is.
True there is no clear consensus on what caused the Great Depression but there are generally accepted events that compounded, increased the severity and duration of the depression. The Smoot-Hawley Tarrif Act being on of the more undisputed ones, and the Federal Reserve's failures.

MSgt Steve Sweeney - sorry I admit I have troubles understanding English sentences that begins with you buddy... Normally you refers to the person you were addressing not a third party.
When Trump start implementing tarriffs you'll see me and the vast majority of Republicans rise up against him. Thankfully the Republicans learned their lesson on why protectionism fails. Trump has been a Democrat nearly his entire life so you have to wonder about him sometimes.
