There have been several innovations in suppressor technology, I am looking forward to the Hearing Protection Bill passing so I can get some of these new designs.

You are in for a LONG wait. The Hearing Protection Act is NOT likely to pass before the end of 2018. Folks that I know in the Suppressor industry had a meeting with the BATFE last week. Not a single one of them is hopeful that the HPA will pass. What they are hopeful for is that the wait times will be reduced to less than a month, perhaps even purchase and carry out, with an Instant check and point of sale for the $200.00 tax stamp.
Be Real folks, there is ZERO chance that any politician is going to vote to abolish a tax...Democrats, republicans, communists, Nazis and Green party all have one thing in common, the desire to put their hand in your pocket.

SSG Roger Ayscue - The only way this bill has any chance of passing is if we get people involved in the political process and have them contact their elected representatives. Write them, call their offices...

I have test fired these suppressors and I can honestly say they are well worth the price for a few reasons.
First, the only item that requires a tax stamp is the outer sleeve. You purchase one system and get the stamp, then purchase different internals for different calibers for a few hundred bucks each and you effectively have multiple suppressors.
Second, the design is much better for the shooter. Typical baffle cans blow a ton of carbon back into your face. The way this is designed you don't get that at all. Additionally there is minimal cyclic rate increase and fewer chances of malfunctions.
Lastly, with subsonic rounds the suppressor is incredibly quiet, as in you can hear the action of the rifle cycling over the report. But even with supersonic rounds it is still ear safe.
Yes there are cheaper ones out there, but you always get what you pay for.
