India has a very significant naval presence throughout Southwestern Asia By this I mean from the Northern (Timor Sea) and Western coast of Australia up through Indonesia (including the Straits of Malacca) to the East coast of Africa including the Persian Gulf and Yemen. As long as Red China is prevented from monopolistic control of the straits, their economy will always be #2 to our #1. I couldn't care less if the Bolsheviks control the Barents Sea. The Baltic wouldn't be an issue except that is of importance to our NATO Allies. The same can be said for the Black Sea and the Bosporus.
