Hooah Sir. I'm trying my best to be part of the millennial generation that will never forget the sacrifice every single soldier and sailor made before us.

1LT (Join to see) You volunteered to serve this nation. That single act all ready means that you understand more about sacrifice and patriotism than most of your generation. That says something about your character right there.

Thanks for sharing. I've been to the USS Arizona Memorial several times and it is always a somber experience for me, every bit sacred on the level of the Vietnam Wall Memorial, Arlington N.C., and the Tomb of the Unknown, as well as the U.S. Holocaust Memorial.

When I went to Pearl Harbor from a break before the beginning of Operation Key Resolve (2012) 2 week A.T. in Hawaii, we went to the USS Arizona Memorial and I was touched to see a wreath from the Japanese Shinto Shrine honoring our sailors. I also felt it was to say they were sorry too. Very somber and sad to still see the oil leaking to the surface 60 years later.
