reading up on the California laws, his punishment is within the guidelines. That's not to say that the average person doesn't get more, or less than he did. At least he didn't get off. I don't believe any 82 y/o should get jail time beyond their initial arrest and detainment ... it would typically end up just costing the taxpayer more for potential medical problems for one, and an 82 year old could be subject to a lot of BS - especially aomeone prominent like him. It's tempting to say, too bad ... but, it is what it is.
