Whatever. It's not like he needs to get into the Whit House to perform his duties. Let the Secret Service remove the bastard in 13 days.

If the members of government ignore him, he can do no more damage. Those that went out of control yesterday are going to listen to him even if he is removed from office.

Sad to see this devolve into such petty stupidness. Yesterday it was news because Pence unfollowed Trump on twitter. Thought we were sending men to Washington, not kindergartners.

Capt Gregory Prickett - SGT Russell Wickham Unfortunately both these things are true. On the one hand you are right Russel, there shouldn't be anything extraordinary about Pence doing his duty. On the other hand the fact is that Gregory and I are super thankful he did (at least I am). It shows how extraordinary the times are that we are thankful and relieved that Pence was able to pull himself out of the cult and do the right thing, which as Russell points out should in normal times just have been a given.

Capt Gregory Prickett - Your words have value. You're pictures not so much. I didn't rub 2016 in your face, please don't rub 2020 in mine.

Capt Gregory Prickett - "Each State shall appoint, in such Manner as the LEGISLATURE thereof may direct, a Number of Electors, equal to the whole Number of Senators and Representatives to which the State may be entitled in the Congress: but no Senator or Representative, or Person holding an Office of Trust or Profit under the United States, shall be appointed an Elector." (Emphasis added) Not Trump, nothing to do with Trump. U.S. Constitution Article II, section 1, clause 2. Doesn't say secretary of state, doesn't say state supreme court. It says Legislature, and the legislature of GA, MI, PA, and WI did not change election law, the secretary of state or the state court did. Courts refused to hear the cases, yes. I don't know why, and I am not going to speculate, won't do any good, but the constitution gives the power to the state legislature to direct the manner of selecting the electors.
So, by refusing to hear the case Texas brought against the four states listed above, the SCOTUS vacated this clause of the constitution. If it can be so easily vacated, the paper it is written on is worth about the same as toilet paper--flushed as soon as it is no longer wanted. I don't know what oath officers swear, but before I swore to obey the president or the officers, I swore to support and defend the constitution. So, no fraud claims (other, more capable parties are looking into those), just the plain writing in the constitution, whether you care to admit it or not.

Capt Gregory Prickett - Good information not passed on by the sources I have read (no surprise there since everyone is pushing an agenda) badly received thanks to the mocking. I have nothing more to say. Mock away.
