The US did not label Qatar as a sponsor of terror. That would be Saudi Arabia, UAE, Bahrain, and Egypt. Trump, on the other hand, has offered to be a mediator in the dispute.

LTC (Join to see) I think the "headline" here is misleading/misunderstood." Non of us will ever truly understand how things work in the middle east and how things work DIPLOMATICALLY..... This is from the article:Qatar is vital to American military interests in the Middle East as it hosts the largest U.S. air base in the region, from which the U.S.-led coalition air campaign against ISIS is conducted.
Sometimes, we may feel one way, but we have to do things another way to get to the finish line.

Sgt Kelli Mays - You are probably right, I have studied that culture enough to be thankful I live here. It does seem odd that the US would label them a supporter of terrorism while we have a military presence there and are discussing arms deals. But, I am a farmer, I don't understand the complexities of politics.
