So we label Qatar as a state sponsor of terror (or at least Pres Trump did), forgetting we have thousands of troops there and now we sell them military gear? Odd to do this if they are sponsors of terrorism.

The US did not label Qatar as a sponsor of terror. That would be Saudi Arabia, UAE, Bahrain, and Egypt. Trump, on the other hand, has offered to be a mediator in the dispute.

LTC (Join to see) I think the "headline" here is misleading/misunderstood." Non of us will ever truly understand how things work in the middle east and how things work DIPLOMATICALLY..... Sgt Kelli Mays - You are probably right, I have studied that culture enough to be thankful I live here. It does seem odd that the US would label them a supporter of terrorism while we have a military presence there and are discussing arms deals. But, I am a farmer, I don't understand the complexities of politics.
