It seems like it's about time, as long as the network is properly encrypted and the sshd is not broadcast, hack should be much more labor intensive than most hackers will be willing to to undertake. We is not the most secure encryption, wpa/wpa2 are pretty secure if the DOD is going to use wifi I'm certain they will be using better than 512-bit encryption.

With Russia and North Korea having dedicated groups within their military structures assigned the duties of penetrating computer networks this new network better have the most modern anti-hacking tools available.
