Well-deserved laughter being hurled at United in gale-like proportions blasting their stock value (down some 29%?).

DAMN!!! DAAAMN!!! 29%? No wonder he was so apologetic after putting him through the PR ringer earlier. I'm with Kirk....it might be a good time.

I'm not flying United. I haven't in some time. Filthy bastards that want maximum dollar for minimum service. The technicality of life is that United were "in the right." However they were not "customer right." And unfortunately in the service industry, the customer is always right. And with airlines the world over raising prices, charging for arm rests, charging by how many steps it takes you to reach your seat, etc, "the industry," it's watchdogs and advocate groups will pillory United with all the gusto of the crowds surrounding M. Antoinette's guillotine.
Inept, script reading staff that couldn't think for themselves and were unable to effect a solution for the issue including driving the crew to their destination by car or offering more money in order to make the deal more palatable. Hell, I've taken vouchers from airlines before, stayed in their hotels, drank their beer and gotten a free flight the next day. Nothing to it.
And whats up with police? Good God a Mighty. Restraint training? I could understand it if Bob the 80 year old "mall cop" had to deal with it. But this was a healthy, young LEO. And the best he could do was handle the guy like an arrested murderer? Geez. Pillory his dumb ass too. Kick his dumb ass to the curb. Hard. I mean its hard to stand by LEO's bleating "we're all not like that" during BLM criticism and then this crap shows up. Come on guys. Accept the fact that every single person in the world has a camera, is filming you and your bullshittery is not going to escape notice.

Well I'm going to sit back and watch some crazy mess play out. It was BLM last year, it'll be ALM this year, maybe #NOLIVESMATTER2018. This will be costly, and there isn't a plethora of prescription drug selling Dr's in my area let alone Asian Dr's.

SSG Warren Swan - That was a classic straw man in action. "Oh he was a convicted rapist. No wait - he was a mass murderer..." Anything to take the heat off of United. Doesn't matter his past. They screwed up and its gonna take some shrewd legal eagle work to get them out of it. And with rising airline fares/lowering service levels, I don't see anything promising for them. I stopped flying them decades ago. And that killed me as they were pretty damn cheap. But the cheapness was outweighed by not having luggage when I arrived. Or having broken stuff.

SSG Ben Woart - Living in tourist-ville Florida, I see a lot of new airlines and travel outlets regularly. The market is ripe.
