I have read about him before. His story is extraordinary. There may be only a handful of people in our history you could put into his category for devotion to duty and country and his personal bravery and living a life that very few ever have. It is a shame he is not even talked about in our history of the 21st century. He does not (and others like him) do not even get a footnote in the history books for students of the 20th century. Sad but true.
