I would question why they put up a statue to a guy, regardless of how good he was on the field, that was involved in the murder of another man....

Many people have forgotten that a murder occurred in Lewis's limo when the Ravens played in the Superbowl in Atlanta. Lewis won't tell who was in the limo and got a slap on the wrist. No one ever went to trial for the murder.
It was all swept under the table.

LTC John Griscom - That's why the statute should never have been allowed in the first place. Ray Lewis is a goddamn murderer. Now the SOB is proudly paraded on Inside The NFL. Add that to my list of NFL games and related shows I'll never watch again. You can that to the Bank!!!

Sorry ... but taking down that statue is as much of a waste of time and energy as taking down the Confederate statues ... does nothing to solve anything. If the knee-takers, and the statue-tearer-downers on either side of an issue ... would expend their energy on doing something positive rather than something negative ... we might get somewhere.

I heartily agree, except for one thing: I would personally light the fuse to the dynamite to blow up Lewis' statute. I detest that asshole's very existence!!!
