Wow...blame it in the drugs?? Seriously?!? IMO- no matter what kind of drug is used, the core of the person is still the root of the problem. Take responsibility for your own actions, act like an adult- stop looking for a scapegoat. GROW UP

Not Surprising, Not Uncommon. Predators look for Jobs that Afford them the "Opportunity" Teachers (Special Ed, Talk about an Opportunity), Cops, Preachers, Priests. Positions of Authority Over Others.

She is old enough and smart enough to know better. The excuse of drug abuse is a sad excuse. She is lucky that she didn't get more time.
