Have not been to the locations you mention, but live in Phx and have for 15 years now (Washington State native). Probably same 'temperatures', but humidity is a completely different animal. Our 'monsoon' in Phx is evident because the humidity may hit around 50%-70%.... but normally is around 25%, and we have plenty of days where the humidity is around 5%... so low you generate static electricity walking arcoss a paved parking lot and get shocked when you put your key into your ignition. That's probably May-June.
