Pilot of Southwest flight with blown engine was among Navy’s first female fighter pilots

Some football Quarterbacks "dream of" the last minute 4th quarter comeback win, and they often play ther best during those times. Most pilots would just as soon NEVER HAVE an emergency, but like quarterbacks, they train super-hard to make successful outcomes out of emergencies. Their satisfaction comes when they and their crew and pax can "walk away" from a disasterous mishap.
