Thanks again for the opportunity to share our vision and mission.
The photo on the podcast is from Panama (Just Cause) December, 1989. I was a Ranger Team Leader (CPL) and Platoon Sniper. Me and my sniper buddy (Mark H. hope you are well) are standing in front of Manuel Noreiga’s destroyed Leer jet, preventing his escape from Punta Paitilla Airfield. This is the mission the Navy SEALs had that ran into some issues and we came in as a QRF.
The Panama invasion was the first time I ever heard of sex trafficking and specifically of children. I, like many even today, dismissed this as some foreign abomination connected to men like Noriega. It would be 20 years before I began to realize this horrific crime is a commercial industry right here in the U.S.
Who would thought that 30 years later I remember this very moment and its impact with Guardian Group today.
