Point Honda Disaster 1923

With all the recent attention to the USS Fitzgerald being hit by a cargo ship it reminded me of Honda Point. An incident that shows exactly how bad an accident can be. Though due to the nature of the exercise, the weather and distrust in new equipment I tend to give Cpt. Watson more of a pass than Cmdr Bensen and the USS Fitzgerald's crew.
